As we celebrate another year of victories, we will also honor three outstanding visionaries who have broken through barriers and blazed trails for social and environmental justice in the Bay Area
Lateefah Simon, Executive Director of Lawyer's Committee for Civil Rights
Lynne Twist, Founder of The Soul of Money Institute & The Pachamama Alliance Carl Anthony, Founder of Urban Habitat
The event will feature uplifting performances by The East Bay Church of Religious Sciences Choir, heavy hors d'oeuvres from Bon Appetit and organic wine provided by Frey Vineyards.
All proceeds from this event will strengthen our efforts to:
Shut down California's youth prison system and reconnect its young people to a hopeful future
Build a youth voice for peace
Shape positive solutions that keep our communities safe
Create living-wage opportunities for low-income people and people of color in the emerging "green" economy.
Together, we are bringing our vision of justice, opportunity and peace in our cities to life!
