How do local communities transform themselves into active instruments for building local resilience? Given the severity of the changes we face today - on economic, climatic, demographic and other fronts - such a transformation would seem to require a hybrid of local, intentional and virtual community action - "extreme" community - combined with greater diversity of ideas and knowledge.

Cliff Figallo, a co-founder of two groundbreaking social experiments - The Farm and The WELL - invites you to join him in a conversation about new perspectives on preparing for rapid and radical change in the places where we live. We're now witnessing a breakdown in governance at the federal and state levels as we are being (and will continue to be) impacted at the local level.
