Pleasant Hill Cohousing monthly tour

Pleasant Hill Cohousing common house (map)

Selected By: Raines Cohen

This regular monthly community tour and open house of the East Bay's biggest and most "suburban" cohousing neighborhood, Pleasant Hill cohousing the only "new-build" classic cohousing community in the region, the largest in the East Bay, and a lovely community. Please arrive a little before the start time so the tour can start promptly at the hour.

From the PHCH website: Our Monthly Tour - We conduct regularly scheduled tours on the first Sunday of each month (with some exceptions if it's a holiday weekend or no one has signed up). The tour starts at 2:00 pm and takes about an hour depending on the size of the group. It's recommended that you wear shoes that are easy to take on and off, as some areas of our community are "shoeless" and the tour goes more smoothly if we don't have to spend too much time dealing with shoes on and off. Please contact us to let us know you're coming (RSVPing here will do --R). Visit our website: http://phch.org...

This is such a wonderful community! Our host was very gracious and the homes we toured were lovely. If you are curious about co-housing, I would definitely recommend taking a tour to get a closer look.
