Introduction

I'm interested in joining or starting an intentional collective that is for low-income people, and that would focus on sustainability.

How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

Through various workshops held.

What does Cohousing mean to you?

Living in community with like-minded people, supporting each other in creating a nurturing and sustainable life together.

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

I'm interested in limited-equity collectives where we all become owners all have an equal stake in our life together.

Where are you most interested in living?

I could do urban or rural. I let go of my car, so an urban setting with good public transportation would probably be best. But I do love the beauty of more rural areas, and would figure out what to do .

  • Hi, Rivian. Just signed up for the Saturday meeting and noticed you had also RSVP'ed. I remember that we briefly discussed co-housing on Sunday when we met at the Lake. Look forward to seeing you there.

  • I so enjoyed meeting you yesterday. I am totally convinced it was no accident. Share many of your views if not all. I think it would be nice to hang out and share. Call me or send me an e mail. Best, Brigitte

  • Welcome to East Bay Cohousing, Rivian. I hope you can go on tomorrow's bike tour and check out the examples at Mariposa Grove, which is a limited-equity affordable community with lots of great sustainability elements. I look forward to seeing you at our future gatherings.
