Introduction

I am very interested in becoming part of a meaningful community and have become very intrigued by cohousing. My family (wife, 2 young kids, and me) are currently renting in the Tri-Cities; we'd like to relocate to the Oakland/Berkeley/Alameda area.

How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

I stumbled upon it on the internet looking for housing information.

What does Cohousing mean to you?

Building community and sharing common space with folks who share core values.

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

I'm thinking co-create - though buy isn't out the question.

Where are you most interested in living?

The Heart of the East Bay (Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda)

  • Thanks for filling out your profile, Michael; knowing what you're looking for makes it more likely that our work will help you get your needs met. We're hosting a 3-day workshop Aug. 20-22 on how to create community with Diana Leafe Christian; that could be a great opportunity to learn more about the process.

  • Michael: Welcome to East Bay Cohousing! How can we help you build sustainable community? When you get a chance, fill out your profile for the best connections, and RSVP for our upcoming events. We have a lot of recent interest from the southern East Bay, although currently most of our events are up towards Berkeley.
