Introduction

Since I was a little tyke, community living attracted me. The illusion of individuality and separateness made no sense. I hope to meet like-minded, open-hearted people who know or suspect that our only chance is community building.

How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

Through a group who is planning an intentional community.

What does Cohousing mean to you?

Cohousing is the safest intentional community plan for people who are hesitant (scared) to be tooo creative or tooo daring. It is a good step in the right direction.

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

Share, build, co-create or rent, if the"co" is missing.

Where are you most interested in living?

in community (smile)

What susan schaller is saying about this Meetup Group

love the idea; hope it becomes a little less "business" oriented, exploring other more options besides the individual capitalistic ownership model which definitely pervaded.

  • Hi Susan, this is great! I hope you or one of your friends will come to the Saturday potluck on the 29th to share with others ready for site search. We still have room for a couple more.

FYI - The kids room just off where we'll be meeting is available too. Sorry no pets though. Either way, let us know how it goes this weekend.
