Introduction

I lived in cooperative housing while studying in Berkeley, and really appreciated the built-in community, the healthier lifestyle and reduced stress, and I'm hoping to create that again in my post-college lifestyle.

How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

I don't remember - probably Google.

What does Cohousing mean to you?

My vision involves private residences with communal recreation, eating, gardening and working spaces. It attracts me because most people are not very individually empowered without a supportive group with some common goals. (I'm certainly not.)

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

Co-create, build, and buy - in that order.

Where are you most interested in living?

  • Welcome back to East Bay Cohousing, Steven. I like your vision: "private residences with communal recreation, eating, gardening and working spaces." "A supportive group with some common goals" definitely can make a difference - as I, too, found in the UC Berkeley Student Co-ops

  • Good team name suggestion for the pub quiz. But I think that's what the French call 'esprit d'escalier,' :)
