Introduction

Hi- My name is Rana and I live in Berkeley. I have been involved in a couple of Bay Area worker-owned cooperatives and have been considering going back to school to study intentional communities and collective spaces. I'm happy I found your group!

What does Cohousing mean to you?

Cohousing is the best of both worlds for me. I know I need my own personal living space but also know I need to be linked into a community of shared space and resources. Cohousing means living simply, sustainably, cooperatively and thoughtfully.

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

That's a hard question! Renting is most feasible for me in my current situation but I'd love to eventually buy or build/create my own space with others.

Where are you most interested in living?

Berkeley, Oakland
