Introduction

Having enjoyed being part of an intentional living community for 15 years in MA, I've wanted to meet like-minded folks here in the East Bay (where I've lived for 4-plus years). I am eager to build relationships with people before living with them.

How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

Fellowship of Intentioanl Communities directory.

What does Cohousing mean to you?

Some cooking & eating together, caring for common spaces and garden, neighbors looking out for each other, giving & receiving mutual support; sharing skills & resources; singing & dancing, having fun together.

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

It might make sense to rent together first; then buy, in order to get to know each other.Ultimately, I'd like to buy with other folks. Each person/couple would have their own unit, and we'd share common spaces. 'Also open to sharing a large house.

Where are you most interested in living?

Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, El Cerrito, Albany, Alameda.

Additional Information

"I am most interested in meeting folks who already have experience living cooperativley, and who have time to spend building friendships before renting or buying together. Email me if you'd like to talk & make a meal together."
