Introduction

I've owned a home in West Berkeley for 18 years, but I'm investigating moving to an intentional community for my retirement years.

How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

Word of mouth

What does Cohousing mean to you?

Cohousing means living as an interdependent member of a community whose goal is to live sustainably on our planet.

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

All of these options are a possibility, but most likely buy.

Where are you most interested in living?

I am really open to living anywhere in the bay area, but I do have a fondness for Berkeley.

  • Hi Lisa!
Hoping you can make it to the co-op tour tomorrow! We are not co-housing but rather we are a co-op but we will be handing out a list of both co-ops and cohousing communities in the East Bay, and information on how to get on the waiting lists for each of the communities. We also have a website called www.coopnetwork.net which hosts an email list which will send you an email every time there is a vacancy in any of the co-ops, cohousing communities, and communal houses.

  • Hi Lisa! So cool to see you here. I'm leaving for Philly on Friday (for a bit) but might go into SF for poly dinner tomorrow. I hope to catch up with you soon.

    Cheers,
    Jodi
